Allow me to welcome you to the one place on Earth where anything goes. When I say anything, I truly mean anything. Westmont, a suburb outside of New York City, plays home to the richest and most elite of the gene pool winners. When you grow up in the sort of life that kids around Westmont grow up in, you know the rights and wrongs of our society. For one, you always dress to impress. You never know who you might run into on a hazy summer night. It’s not hard to follow the basic rules of our way of life, and hopefully for you, you can keep up.
Brentwood Academy is a middle school located in this lively suburb. It’s filled to the brim with the offspring of famous tv icons, politicians, and business tycoons. It’s a very prestigious school that takes pride in its highly academic students, and is ruled by the infamous clique called the Material Girls. Brentwood Academy is the breading ground of jealousy, rumors, and catfights. Here, it’s easy to overstep your boundaries and one wrong move can leave you alienated for all three years of your middle school career. A word to the wise; watch your back. With drama, lies, cliques, and catfights, it’s bound to get hotter then a New York summer. I’d tell you to hang on tight, but what’s the fun in that?
The Clique. With friends like these, who needs enemies?
Settled in the heart of California, on the coastal of San Francisco there is one school which has been known for many years. Hardston Academy, the massive campus and amazing achievers make this place what it really is, and amazing school the students all keep in line, well with a few ups and down and the rebels like to make a show of themselves, but in the last few years they have made a university in the free field that was next to the school so students didn’t have to leave town to carry on their education.
Before you judge the school and it concept I must point out the structure of the school, instead of just having students from different countries the clique system is like no other and if you don’t fit in from the beginning then you never will unfortually. The good thing is that you can be your own person there, if you like sports or books they have it all under the massive school roof. But to be honest with you all the drama does not stay in the school it ranges through the whole town and everyone has drama pretty much every day.
The small town that has evolved round the school is simply called ‘Petal Town’ simply and easy as before they had come it was just a lush forest with many trees and they dedicate the town after a well known tree which was one of the eldest before it died a few years back now. And as the town has grew so have the people families are moving in and students are moving closer to get to school easier, clubs have opened and a hospitals has been built. This development started over 40 years ago and only now they have officially said it is complete.
But what made this town so popular in such a short time after being fully built well just a normal night for everyone students where home and the teachers packed away there was a shooting nearby which led the gangs to the school for cover as they tried to kill each other off. There were around 12 boys involved in the fight most attend the well known school one of them being James Freeman one of the most popular guys in school. Everyone was killed off in the group leaving only James left, he took shelter behind one of the bench and tried to keep quite, but after being shot three times.
The pain was rushing through him luckily for him the gang soon gave up and wandered off and James was left in the middle of the main courtyard all his friends dead next to him as he stood there looking at them. The next morning he was still there unable to move from lose of blood. This is what made Petal Town go onto the front pages and people started moving there and so forth, James stills lives there now as a proud owner of a club and twenty one, but he will never forget that day.
And with Kaytesville, comes its legendary high school, Pemberly Academy. Here, we find all sorts of different species of drama… There’re jocks, geeks, scene kids, prom queens, and much, much more. All your stereotypical stuff as well as a bit more. At Pemberly Academy, they specialize in decoding and problem solving. It’s all fairly simple stuff; solve this case and tell us who did what and how. What the students of Pemberly don’t know is, they’re not just solving little word problems, they’re solving actual cases. Pemberly has been training these students to go in and find actual murderers and they have no idea that they hold the lives of others in their very hands.
It all stays quite innocently unknown until odd things start to happen, things that make decoding a dangerous game. There’s a murderer in Kaytesville who’s making people disappear one by one. As far as anyone can tell, it’s a serial killer and there’s a pattern. The students of P.A. are put to work with various clues to start trying to solve the case. As they move onward in investigation, they come to the realization that, the murderer is their age and goes to the school. No one can seem to find out who it is but, this murderer is causing more chaos than Kaytesville can handle…
Outside the murder mystery, there’s even more going on. The students are worried because they are starting to realize that the problems they’ve been solving all along have been real. They’re starting to make the links that travel across countries to solve bigger investigations than just their little Kaytesville drama. And in the center of all of this comes a drama that most teenagers can’t avoid, the dreaded cliques! What if per say, a jock and a geek wanted to start dating? Well most people at Pemberly would consider that a social suicide. People around them are all dyeing and what’s on most of their minds? Teenage drama! Will they be able to put themselves past all of this or, will the drama take over and block out all else? Only you can learn the answer, solve the riddle and find out who the murderer is, track down where all the cliques roots take place, and find out who spread the rumors that led to false murder accusation.

MAX.
The only sounds that could be heard where the crashing of the waves upon the pristine, snowy sand. The gulls, hanging weightless in the hot air, cried blatantly, their screams falling deaf to the man's ears. The thick, salted breeze played with his already tousled hair, picking up the mahogany strands and tossing them in every direction. He didn't seem to notice.
Max ran his fingers over the paper of the cigarette, watching his skin come painfully close to the burning end before he winced and withdrew his hand. He was sitting at the waterline, his shirt tossed carelessly behind him, much like his shoes were awhile back. The beach was fairly empty today; a remarkable thing for such a popular hang out. He liked it this way.. it was just him and the azure waters that crashed around his legs. The heavens were clear and cloudless, the sands reflected the sun in a blinding display of sparkling light. His only wish was that his mother could have seen it.
Max lifted the cig to his mouth, taking a long drag before slowly letting the thick smoke drift out of his nose. His calm eyes scanned the coastline through the dark glass of his shades, watching the boats bob along the horizon. They were tiny, cute even, as if a child had accidentally let his toys drift out into the ocean. On an impulse, Max pretended to grab them with his fingers, smiling when he realized what he was doing. Old habits die hard.
Max could taste the salt on his lips as water slid from his hair down his face, remnants of a swim he had taken earlier. His fingers dug themselves into the dunes, and he let the warm sand slide through his fingertips. He loved it here-- the scenery, the people, the way the tourists flocked here during summer vacation.. for the most part, it was everything he expected the infamous Hawaii to be. Except now that he was actually living here, his rent was overdue, and was clambering to scrape up enough money. With his meager pay, his choice to live in Suburban Grassford probably wasn't the best. He sucked in a large breath of warm air, and let it out in a rush. He relaxed his muscles and fell on to his back, his eyes closed slowly. Max was just beginning to realize that life in Honolulu wasn't all perfect beaches and good liquor.
